We have launched the latest phase of our campaign to keep residents informed of our plans to downsize to new offices on the Charles Street site in Dorchester. It is part of our efficiency drive which is already showing real results, as demonstrated in our budget yesterday. We are working closely with the County Council to bring the Library and Adult Education Centre into the building, reducing the overall cost. The plans will also breathe new life into our existing buildings: talks are progressing with the National Trust to take over the historic old Crown Court. Together with other plans in the pipeline, such as the Dorchester Environment and Transport Plan, our vision for the County Town is very exciting. We have made a short film to keep residents informed of the latest situation that can be viewed on youtube.
